🐾 Facility Policy
Please read this document carefully before your pet’s stay. It contains vital information regarding safety, security, and booking requirements.
1. Booking, Payments, & Cancellations
-
Vaccination Rule: All vaccines must be administered at least two weeks (14 days) prior to your pet's arrival. We enforce a strict zero-exception policy for this rule to maintain a safe, healthy environment.
-
Securing Bookings: We must view and accept your pet's proof of vaccination first. Once approved, full payment must be made by the invoice due date to secure your slot. Unpaid bookings will be automatically cancelled and/or entry will be refused.
-
Refund Policy: Detailed information regarding cancellations and refunds can be found under the Terms and Conditions tab on our website.
2. Food, Medication, & Comfort
-
Owner-Provided Food: The quote provided on your invoice excludes food. You must bring your pet’s current diet when dropping them off. (Information on why we require owners to provide food for short stays is available on our website under the Prices tab).
-
Medications: Please notify us if your pet requires medication. All medicine must be provided in its original packaging with clear instructions. We cannot administer medication that is not in the original packaging.
-
Familiar Comforts: We highly recommend bringing your pet’s favourite toy or blanket to provide a familiar scent and help them settle in comfortably.
3. Arrival, Drop-off, & Collection Guidelines
-
Strict Operating Hours: Always double-check that your drop-off and collection times fall within our official opening hours. We absolutely do not allow arrivals or departures outside of these hours.
-
Drive Slowly: You must obey all posted speed limit signs while on the property.
-
Shared Property Hazards: Please be aware that this property is not just a business; it also contains a working farm and two private family homes. Children, loose animals, and farm vehicles are regular hazards.
-
Children Must Remain in Vehicles: When collecting or dropping off your pets, children must always remain inside the car. This ensures their safety around moving vehicles and other dogs arriving or departing.
-
Wait in Your Car: Upon arrival, park at the front of the building and keep your pet inside your car. Do not enter the building. A staff member will be out to assist you as soon as possible.
-
Respect the Fences: Do not jump on the fences or climb onto your vehicle to look over the enclosures. This severely agitates and upsets the dogs staying with us. It is their safe space—please respect it.
4. Property Security & Safety Boundaries
-
Our Home & Family Business: Please understand that while this is our family business, it is also our private home. Climbing our gates or fences and attempting to enter the premises outside of opening hours is completely unfair to our family and the pets onsite who require our undivided attention.
-
Closed Gates: If we have no pets scheduled to arrive or depart, our main gates will be shut for safety and asset security.
-
Schedule Delays: Please contact us via email immediately if an unexpected emergency prevents you from attending your scheduled booking time.
-
Trespassing: Any unauthorized entry or attempt to break into our property/facility will result in an immediate formal trespass notice and police involvement.
